6 Questions for Leaders to Build Stronger Futures & Communities

Listen on your favorite platforms

In Episode 18 of Lead the Future, Dr. Vince Molinaro is joined by Gina Bianchini, Founder and CEO of Mighty Networks. In this Podcast episode, Gina shares her fantastic experience and insights as an entrepreneur, investor and writer. In her new book, Purpose: Design a Community and Change Your Life, a Wall Street Journal bestseller, Gina shares her perspective on how to create a powerful impact and purpose in one’s life.

While enabling the creation of communities is at the core of her passions and quickly growing tech business, Gina is also a firm believer in practicing mindfulness to drive focus and purpose in life. Her Purpose30 exercise is designed to help leaders dig into 6 questions that can help frame directives and get to the heart of one’s purpose in life.

When we get clear on our individual purpose, it becomes, ‘okay, how do I show up for others? What is my legacy? What is the impact I want to have on the world?’ And when you give yourself the time to be able to answer these questions, and have something written down, you can translate it into your future story.

Gina’s 6-question framework for leaders

Deciphering an individual’s purpose as a leader is just one step towards fostering a powerful, connected, accountable community in business.

  • What are three things you’re able to do in the future, looking out five or 10 years, that you’re not able to do today?
  • What are three things that you’ve accomplished
  • What are three things you’ve taken a stand on?
  • What has changed in your world or the world at large for the better in the most unexpected or surprising way?
  • Who were the people that you’ve brought together?
  • What are three things they’re able to do in the future that they’re not able to do today?
