Community of Leaders®

Driving Collective Accountability for Strategy, Change, and Results

This custom program supports organizations when they need their senior leaders to come together to lead a significant strategic shift and drive disciplined execution.  

At the core of this program is the belief that transformation cannot be driven by a single leader—it requires a strong community of accountable leaders. Based on the Community of Leaders book by Dr. Vince Molinaro, this program helps senior leaders strengthen the 10 characteristics of a strong community of leaders in their organizations: 

Grounded in the Leadership Accountability System® (LAS)

We leverage our Leadership Accountability System® (LAS), a proven framework that guides the design and implementation of this program. 

DEFINE

Our first step involves understanding the business context and strategy of your organization. From there, we articulate the leadership expectations critical for all leaders to demonstrate. This phase of the program includes:

  • Leadership Culture Diagnostic – Establish baseline measures of the current leadership culture to identify strengths and gaps. 
  • Defining a Company-Specific Leadership Contract – Establish clear leadership expectations and commitments that will guide the transformation. 
  • Developing a Strategic Story – Equip leaders with a compelling strategic story to bring clarity and alignment to their functions and teams. 
ALIGN

In this second phase, we focus on a common development experience for senior leaders. We help them understand the importance of personal accountability and its role in the collective impact leaders must have to drive the success of the organization.

  • Understanding the role each leader must play in strengthening individual, team and shared accountability 
  • Learning to implement the ten characteristics of a community of leaders in their roles 
  • Committing to their role in building a strong community of accountable leaders 
EMBED

In this third phase, leaders explore strategies to embed leadership accountability into the culture and sustain momentum over the long term. Specific outcomes include:

  • Reinforcing leadership accountability at every level of the organization. 
  • Shaping leadership behaviors and cascading them to leaders across the organization
  • Setting the tone and inspiring the entire organization through change and transformation
